For the 2019 NFL Draft, I was tasked with developing a theme for all of our content. I decided to base all of our content around neon signs as a nod to all the neon lights/signs that are in Nashville, TN the home of the 2019 NFL Draft. This concept was something that I felt would be unique, while also being adaptable to all the content we wanted to make for before, during, and after the draft. This project was a massive undertaking that was only made possible by the collaboration with Nick Burkhardt, Harris Meyers, and Ridge Barber. We had to be prepared for all possibilities, and while some of the content below did not end up being used, I hope that this can show the massive scope of the project. Below each project is the credit tags for those who had a hand in each piece.
I designed the above logos in photoshop to emulate neon signs. Each one was made into multiple pieces so that it could be exported to be animated later. Each logo was animated in After Effects to flicker on by Ridge Barber. Below are two examples of the logo animations.
Below are additional examples of some content that we made that did not get used due to the outcome of the draft.
